EU Science Diplomacy Alliance Project

The Fondazione CSF is delighted to announce that as of July 6, 2026 it has been admitted as a Member of the European Union Science Diplomacy Alliance.

The EU Science Diplomacy Alliance is a collaborative initiative launched in the framework of the Horizon 2020 program and it aims to further develop, maintain, and organise joint research projects, policy advice, capacity building and training activities on the topic of science diplomacy.

The Fondazione CSF would like to express its gratitude to Alessandro Lombardo, Simone Arnaldi and Silvia Sattolo for their commitment as co-Chairs of the Alliance over the past year and congratulate the incoming co-Chairs Maria Rentetzi (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) and Casper Andersen (Aarhus University), wishing them all the best for the new term 2026-2027.

We are very much looking forward to contributing to the growth and strengthening of Science Diplomacy through our expertise in providing policy-oriented analysis, fostering dialogue between researchers and decision-makers, and promoting evidence-based approaches to international cooperation. We are grateful to the Alliance's leadership and the entire organization for their welcome, cooperation, and continued commitment to advancing science diplomacy.”, said Fondazione CSF Director, Nicolò Russo Perez.
